vertical air conditioners window type?
I live in Kingston Ontario Canada and I cant find anyplace that sells Vertical A/C's.Is there a way to adapt Horizontal version to fit my window?
Well, I started to say no --- because you're not supposed to flip the standard units on their side to operate them (compressor has to be vertical). But I suppose if you wanted to build a 'box' to go between the unit and window, it might be possible.
Your best bet is to order a unit online, if you can't find one locally.
Your other option is to buy a 'portable' unit, which sits in the room, and vents to the window. Here are some links for you -
